Renowned pianist and raconteur Dom Pipkin will be bringing his highly successful West End Show paying homage to the musical history of New Orleans to the Boston Room at Chiswick’s George IV in a special performance on Thursday 17th September at 7.30pm. The show heralds the first live music performance in the Boston Room for five months and will include the brand-new single “My Love Affair With New Orleans” from Dom’s forthcoming album “C’mon Sunshine”. A regular on the jazz scene, Dom has recorded and toured with Paul Weller, Ray Davies, Pee Wee Ellis, Guy Barker and Laura Mvula, among many others over the years. The high-energy show features some of the best in familiar and original toe-tapping, swinging New Orleans music, including numbers from such giants of the genre as Jelly Roll Morton, Professor Longhair, Dr John, James Booker and Fats Domino. “I can’t hold a candle to this guy.
