Add to Calendar 2013-05-08 7.30pm 2013-05-08 Theo Jackson Band at 606 Club Coming to The 606 straight from his sold-out performance at this year's Cheltenham Jazz Festival, vocalist songwriter and pianist Theo Jackson opens his UK tour at the venue which gave him his first break.

Theo is quickly becoming a recognisable figure on the UK jazz scene. His performances bring a mix of familiar jazz standards from the likes of Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane and Charlie Parker alongside his own original songs which take inspiration from the timeless writing of Duke Ellington and Stevie Wonder.

His energetic and engaging performance style has seen Theo become a regular fixture at many of London’s most prestigious venues.

Theo will be joined by the award-winning saxophonist Nathaniel Facey, along with his regular trio of Shane Allessio on double-bass and Jason Reeve on drums. Expect sizzling swing and great interaction from these exciting young musicians.
