Tonight's John Altman and Friends show sees the continuation of a successful series of events which feature Emmy and BAFTA Award winning composer/saxophonist John Altman in the company of some of his peers. Backed by an all star rhythm section, John will present special surprise guests from the worlds of jazz, TV and film, subject to availability. Past guests have included movie star Jeff Goldblum, James Bond Theme composer Monty Norman, former England cricket captain Mark Butcher, Eastenders' villain John Altman (Nasty Nick Cotton), classical virtuoso violinist Charlie Siem and national treasure Neil Innes, all showing off their jazz credentials.
