Keith Tippett is one of the most important European jazz musicians (improvisers, composers, arrangers) in the last 40 years and its with great pleasure that we welcome him back to Cafe OTO after a rare London performance alone at the piano here last year. Tonight he performs in a duo with long-time collaborator and partner Julie Tippetts, before the Keith Tippet Octet performs his latest composition The Nine Dances Of Patrick O’Gonogon, commissioned by Richard Wiltshire.
