Renato D'aiello Quintet 'plays Horace Silver' at PizzaExpress Jazz Club Soho

Following the success of last year’s London Jazz Festival 'Horace Silver tribute' concert, passionate saxophonist Renato D’Aiello and top trumpeters - Andy Davies for the first night and Quentin Collins for the second night - head this high voltage jazz quintet. This will be a fresh take on hard bop and straight-ahead acoustic jazz in its most vibrant form, as inspired by the likes of Hank Mobley, Joe Henderson, Kenny Dorham and Lee Morgan. For this concert the quintet will be celebrating the music of soul-jazz pioneer Horace Silver, who passed away in 2014.
