To celebrate the life and music of Ray Charles’s genius, Georgia van Etten, whose emotive voice was described by Blues & Soul Magazine as “ ………incredibly dynamic”, will be joined on this special show by the internationally acclaimed trumpeter Quentin Collins. “A trumpeter whose style is a sizzling update of the Morgan/Hubbard approach …….” said MOJO Magazine. Together with a dynamic rhythm section of guitarist Artie Zaitz, bassist Dave Whitford and drummer Femi Koleoso, the band will be paying homage to Ray’s most cherished songs whilst injecting their own unique magic and verve into this very special showcase concert.
